Dr. Menefee is an excellent doctor! Very professional and knowledgeable in his field, I'm a type 1 Juvenile diabetic, have dealt with this issue since i was VERY young. I've NEVER found a way to get it under "control" because I'm so hard headed and don't ever want to listen to a doctor. Dr. Menefee understood (which is hard to find) and made suggestions of what to try, He NEVER acted as if he knew more than i did or underestimated me because like he said "Your the one living it". He is AWESOME!

No nonsense doctor for the person looking for intelligent avenues of healing and wellness!
He is too sure that he knows everything there is to know. This is especially sad since he has not kept up with knowledge in his field. If it wasn't in med school 40 yrs ago, it doesn't exist. I have a pituitary gland tumor causing hormone levels to be abnormal. I asked him to check my other pituitary hormones. He refused- "It wouldn't be diagnostic of anything." After 6 months of suffering, another endo DID test. I was suffering frm adrenal insufficiency, hypothyroidism, and others.
Dr. Menefee is condescending, dismissive and rude. He insisted my symptoms were from getting old and just quitting smoking. I am 30 years old and quit smoking over 3 years ago. His office staff confused me with two other patients on two separate occasions. They also incorrectly billed me and my insurance company twice. Dr. Menefee insisted there was nothing wrong with me and suggested I try the Mayo Clinic in Chicago. I have since been diagnosed with thyroid disease, no thanks to Dr. Menefee
