Dr. F was awesome. We have only had one appointment so far with out newborn but it went better than we could ever imagine. Her experience shows and she was so pleasant to deal with. Please caution yourself from deciding against her due to some comments from people years ago. She is fantastic.
Did not introduce herself. Poor bedside manner. Did not wash/sanitize her hands before or after examining my child. Did not explain anything or even speak to me or my child while she was examining her. Our regular doctor wasn't there, so we were assigned to her instead. Definitely won't be seeing her again, even if she's the only available doctor in office that day for an acute visit.

Please reconsider before making an appointment with her. Sexual health is an important part of development, but I was shocked at how she handled my questions. It was clear she was annoyed as soon as I asked simple questions related to sexual health, and she dismissed all of my concerns, as if I were silly for bringing them up. Never again will I see Dr. Froelich. I have been seeing Dr. Froelich for 16 years. Never have had a problem with her until recently when I asked her about my minor gynecomastia. She never asked any follow up questions, and dismissed my issue in a very rude manner. She told me that the my gynecomastia wasn't anything to worry about, and that I should see a psychiatrist if it is bothering me. Dr. Froehlich is the pediatrician for our three boys. She is patient, very experienced and seasoned, and always takes her time to discuss any questions we have. Having her as a resource has been reassuring for our family. There is no doubt that we will continue to see Dr. Froehlich for our childrens' needs.
I understand doctors are busy, but I was completely shocked by how unpleasant her bedside manners were and her rudeness in handling her patients. She was accusatory in her questions, making us feel like we were wasting her time by making an appointment with her. She had complete disregard for our concerns, and I left feeling very disappointed by her condescending manner. The receptionists are very friendly though! We wish we had made an appointment with a different doctor.
Visited her for my son recently. She was not friendly and caring at all. Most of the times she was kind of rude. She did not even check his ears. Her non-verbal expressions were "why you guys came here.." very disappointed..
My child will not see Dr. Froehlich ever again. She is disrespectful and impatient with my child. Then gave her the wrong diagnosis. We spent time and money believing this pediatrician only to find out she was completely wrong. She told me that I wasn't not correct when I believe my 6 yr old daughter had a skin condition. A dermatologist tested her and found that I wasn't correct...not the doctor!
Saw Dr. Froehlich for a follow up on my sons acid reflux. She said that he wasn't gaining enough, didn't think it was reflux, that he cried and arched during feeds because of gas and hunger because my breastmilk didnt contain enough fat. She recommended that I should switch to formula . Got a GI, confirmed reflux. Saw LC, said his weight was fine and unless I was from Ethiopia and starving, my milk fat was fine. Highly discourage breastfeeding moms from going to her. Left the office crying.
