It's all good Juanita's serves high quality food, and their margaritas are yummy too. I've eaten there a number of times and have no complaints.
Better places right down the street Out of all the Mexican places to eat in Alameda this would be my least favorite. The food is just alright, price isn't amazing. Service also isn't amazing enough to make up for everything else being so so.
Terrific home style Mexican food Juanita's is one of those places where first impressions ought to be ignored. It's not that Juanita's looks shabby, but the decor isn't likely to impress anyone. The food and the service, however, are terrific.
Outstanding service and great food. Every time that I have been there the service has been excellent. The food is always fast and the waitresses are attentive and available. They don't take take your order and then disappear like at some other restaurants. The for is very good. It isn't the best that I have had, but it is definitely above average and better than some of the other Mexican Restaurants in the area. The price is right too. Good price, great food and amazing service.
