I have a 28 year old with special needs & is non verbal. My daughter was born with cerebral palsey & last year started having seizures. This is new to the both of us. Dr. Ochoa is a very intelligent doctor but lacks compassion for those that are just trying to be educated correctly. My prayers are with my daughter & I as we adjust to our new normal.
After being dismissed for 2 and a half years, I was FINALLY correctly diagnosed with focal partial seizures and a brain tumor that other doctors had missed repeatedly. Dr Ochoa gave me my quality of life back, and I’ll never be able to thank him enough for that!
Had been a patient of Dr. Ochoa for about 5-6 years now for epilepsy and as the years went by it became more clear that I was not being heard during appointments. He would barely adjust my meds despite the side effects they cause and would “overlook” my appointments when I became a virtual patients. Now, I am pregnant and cannot get ahold of him or his nursing team to see if it is even safe for me or my baby to stay on these medications while pregnant. Very unprofessional in my opinion and would not recommend to anybody.
Dr. Ochoa is a very kind and understanding doctor. He has worked hard with this little brain of mine. He is very sweet and his care team is too.
Juan Ochoa, M.D. has a 4.5 star rating with 13 reviews.
