Best orthopedic surgeon in the area!!! Dr. Castaneda actually explains to you what is going on and takes the time to help you understand! Dr. Castaneda has made me feel extremely confident in the options I have. I really recommend Dr. Castaneda! You will not be disappointed!!
I arived at his office in Palm Coast for a 10am appt.(along with 4 other people) 12/17/2020. This place was small and not enough room to feel safe so i waited outside. First I had to fill out 11 pages of info. two people working there. The younger one did not ware a mask. The older one (in her 80's) did. Once inside again and in one of the rooms the older lady started to take my blood pressure with a cheep $15 walmart blood presure machine that was WAY off. Had surgery on a finger in 2019. After surgery, I contacted the doctor's office multiple times in pain and was told it was "normal". When they took the bandages off, he said I was in pain because it was wrapped too tight. During stitch removal (done by someone else in his office), I was crying because it hurt so bad. Some of the stitches would not come out and had to be yanked from my hand. His response was to quit being a baby. 7 years ago my husband went to Dr.Castaneda for hand surgery and he has been in pain ever since. Three times during the surgery this doctor came out to tell me things weren't going well. I wish we had gone to another doctor but at the time we were told he was the only local hand surgeon. During our appointments discussing the pain the doctor only wanted to talk about cage fighting.
RecommendedI was amazed at how quickly I recovered from carpal tunnel surgery. Dr. Castaneda did an excellent job & I will be returning to have my other hand done. Thank you, Dr. C, you are an excellent seamstress!
