Doctor Chiossone is very professional and very attentive to the needs and questions a patient may have.
I found this doctor to be rude and not considerate of me or my condition. He continually told me not to talk and to listen to him. It was so unprofessional and lacked all empathy and understanding of why I was there. I was shocked to learn that the office called me to make another appointment. I told the person who called me to CANCEL all future appointments and never to call me again. I have been getting bills for months charging me a no-show fee of $50 for months. This review is not directed toward the physician, but the UM health system. I had an appointment set at the earliest date possible about 4 weeks in advance that ended with me unable to see the doctor after wasting my time driving and coordinating the appointment. No one within the healthcare system decided to inform me that my referral from my PCP was not approved by insurance until I showed up to my appointment. Great communication. I will do my best to avoid this healthcare system in the future.
The surgeon did his job with success, so far, the office staff is the reason this is a 2 star, on several occasions I emailed the surgeons Sr. Administrative assistant to complete paperwork for Short term disability and every time the paperwork came with mismatched dates, left several voice messages and no call back, requested medical records and never received them.
