I have used JR Tree Service several times in the past with no problems, but this last experience was very disappointing. I went to work the day the job was done and had specifically asked for the stump to be cut close to the ground. When I returned, the stump was still about 4 feet tall. Since then, I have called and texted several times and was told they would look into it, but nothing has been done. If you use JR Tree Service, I strongly suggest staying and watching to make sure the job is done as agreed.

Julie Hurd BAD experience!!😡🤬😡🤬 The people were nice and pleasant and cleaned up some smaller areas, but then they left us with huge giant pieces. I called and called, they never returned for the rest of the tree, What do we do with this?? Massive pieces of tree left behind and we paid for the complete removal of the tree. As I questioned to hold back a bit of the payment the owner on the phone said to pay the bill in full. The tree cutter guy said they will be back in the morning to get those giant pieces. I'm writing a review of our experience with JR Tree Care because we had a great experience (and also because the reviews below are inconsistent and undersell JR). After we called Brian, he came to give an estimate the next AM. Brian arrived on time to give a thoughtful estimate and provided the written documentation he promised within hours. I had a very disappointing experience with JR’s Tree Service I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, and they showed up late without any prior notice or apology. After finally taking a look at the job, they promised to get back to me with a quote. It’s been weeks now, and I still haven’t heard back from them. No follow-up calls, no emails—just silence. They removed a very large oak tree and some smaller trees from my backyard. They cleaned up everything before they left and didn't damage my property. Their price was reasonable for what they did.
