Any jeweler that buys or sells gold or silver? Should on hand know their spot price for the date and their older employees know what they're talking about.I will never be going here here it's for trash not luxury items.
Extremely disappointed this time around. My 80 year old mother brought my father’s wedding band in to be sized down . The difference in size was quite large. The kept the gold they cut off and tried to charge her $37 . So she said something about her missing piece from my father’s band . They scrabble in the back to try and find a color match from their scrap . That is completely unacceptable. Jay and susan are tremendously helpful with designing, providing stones, and pricing for a custom engagement ring.
I agree with those who cited the poor bedside manner of the proprietor. Although I am grateful for his willingness to purchase several pieces of jewelry from me during a lean time, I was put off by his condescending attitude on more than one occasion. He is given to deriding quality pieces of jewelry, and wont hesitate to characterize something as "junk." I came away feeling really devalued as a person, much like some of the jewelry he appraised.
They designed me one ring from three of mine and a pendant. Fantastic to work with and my ring and pendant are beautiful! I highly recommend
