RecommendedJasen is the only mechanic I trust. I know almost nothing about car engines, or car repairs, so I’m a perfect candidate to get hosed by a mechanic. If you feel like I do when it comes to cars, Jasen is the man to take your car to.
4 years ago my husband took them the engine for his mk1 gti. Needed a rebuild paid him $2500 deposit, then 1 year later paid him another $2500 to settle the “tab” and there wasn’t even any progress, to this day he still hasn't gotten my engine and he had to sell his dream GTI because we need a second car. He has attempted to reach JP several times and he will not respond to him whatsoever, whether it be via phone call, text, or email. JP and his crew do great work. I was in need of a new auto service shop in Draper so I called JP. When I took my car in, all services were explained to me and they called me to verify if they found any additional work that needed to be done. I knew the cost up front and I did not get any surprise charges when I paid the bill. JP took time to explain what my car needed going forward and recommendations for maintenance. JP will be taking care of all my cars!
They do good work. They're just VERY expensive. I was charged almost $700 for an install of lowering springs. Going rate for this type of work is typical $250-$350. I've had it done multiple times. I'll take the blame for not getting a bid before they performed the service. I guess I just assumed they would be in line with everyone else. I had a Unitronic Stage 1 + DSG installed today by Jason! Awesome experience, whole team very friendly. Highly recommend them for any of your import or euro repairs or perfromance mods.

I had a new turbo put in my 2007 Mercedes ml320 Cdi in 2015. I have to replace it again now because the new turbo was installed incorrectly. When he had it in the shop he told me he was driving it up the canyon and wanted to hook up his trailer but the hitch was locked and he couldn’t find the key. What kind of mechanic does that? Unbelievable. And I have the same problem now and he probably hoped I would bring back and spend thousands of dollars on it again. #theif
