We have been going to Dr. Akins for years since my first child was born. She does and excellent job and knows what she is doing. She has helped us out so much and is caring. I love the way she interacts with the children because the visits are about them. She was on my side when I had concerns for my son and she also recognize that something's was going on and noticed signs of Autism in him. She has been our children's doctor since their births, and we've loved her thus far. She talks fast, but she has no issues slowing down and explaining. Her goal is to make sure us parents understand what she sees from the data. She's amazing.
