Pre-op, surgical procedure and post-op follow up was extraordinary. I’m rehabbing a hip replacement and knee reconstruction simultaneously. Mostly pain-free.
I’ve had surgery done twice by Dr. Joyce. My first surgery was a major acl reconstruction along with other ligaments. It was my first real surgery and I was terrified. Dr. Joyce and his team made me so comfortable and my recovery process was really great. My second surgery was night and day compared to the intensity of my first, but Dr. Joyce and his team at the light house surgery center made my brief stay there very pleasant despite the circumstances. I would go back to Dr. Joyce in a heartbeat. Without a doubt.
I have had four joint replacements and each time I had an excellent experience.
I had my left shoulder replaced by Dr. Joyce in June of 2021. I am totally satisfied with the results! I am sleeping through the night w/o pain and have 95 % mobility. I am swimming laps in the pool! Can't say enough about the experience, how great it all went. I am returning to his practice to have a total knee replacement done in April. I totally trust him and his whole team.
I had surgery on both elbows and wrists, couldn’t be happier. My wife had her shoulder and knee operated on, and she’s been happy with the result. The staff are very professional and friendly. The lighthouse surgicenter experience was excellent. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Joyce operated on my shoulder and the results are amazing. All nurses and office staff are very caring and helpful. The lighthouse surgery center was awesome. Would recommend to all, 5 stars for both.
Dr Joyce did surgery on my right knee where I had a tear and a cyst that was causing considerable pain and a real hindrance on my walking. I had had a previous surgery done by Dr. Joyce and I can say overall I have been completely satisfied with the outcome. Due to my age there is a difficulty working with Medicare sometimes but Dr. Joyce was persistent in finding out what the problem was and that it was definitely necessary for this new surgery to take place. I highly recommend this surgeon.
