At my first appointment, I informed Dr. Liporace that I was planning on getting pregnant again, which she was fine with. She then offered medical advice that was out of her area of expertise in regard to my upcoming pregnancy. When I informed her that I was pregnant a few weeks later, she claimed I never discussed it with her. She continued to tell me that it wasn't a good idea and my husband and I should have waited. She's the most unsupportive and condescending doctor I've ever seen.
Dr. Liporace is and excellent neurologist, extremely thorough in addressing my seizure disorder and epilepsy. As a result of her consistent care and current pharmaceutical knowledge , my condition has been controlled for a long period.
Close minded and elitist, not helpful.
Lacks critical thinking skills. Does not ask probing questions that would provide more information. Jumps to unfounded conclusions. Needs to review concepts of evidenced-based medicine. Presumes to offer advice on subjects outside her area of expertise.
I have been seeing Dr. Liporace for epilepsy and migraines. She is the ONLY doctor that has ever listened to me and taken into consideration how I felt about taking a lot of different medications. She is the only doctor to have my seizures under control. If I don't feel well I can email or call her and she gets back to me within a few hours, usually less! Shes over an hour and out of state from my home AND doesn't accept my insurance. I still go to her. She's AMAZING!
Absolutely wonderful....after years of imbalance and all of its attendant issues, and visits to many doctors, Dr. Liporace made a simple medication adjustment and I am walking without assistance for the first time in years!!!
