I had a deeply disappointing experience with LA Jewish Health. In early September, they accepted my father’s application and placed him on a waitlist. They told us it would be about six months—maybe up to nine—before a bed would be available, but every time I followed up, they kept saying a bed just wasn’t ready yet. Then, about two or three weeks ago, I was finally told he was at the top of the waiting list and should be admitted soon. My mother spend almost 2 months recovering at the rehab center. The warm, caring staff nursed my mom back to health. Today she has a high-quality, happy life. I am not sure if this would have been possible without this amazing place.
Incredibly safe, nurturing facility that answers to the medical and human needs of each of its residents. Wonderful communication with families and top-notch professionals working with our families. Even during the Covid shut down times, the staff strived to continue to enrich the residents with activities. Absolutely no discrimination on any level in this Jewish home with any resident, we are beyond grateful to have our parents there.
