Today was my 3rd visit with our 13 year old shepherd. We've had hour long waits 2 of the 3 times. During the initial exam the female vet suggested an injection to help with his movement and talked on and on about holding back on exercise the first few weeks while he adjusts to not having so much pain. Second visit was second injection no problem. Today's visit was a thirty minute wait for injection but we asked to add an exam. No problem. New customer and after 3 visits in 3 weeks I will never bring my pet back to this place. They don't have a permanent vet on staff, never saw the same techs, and the receptionist has a terrible attitude. The final straw was the medication for my pet was given without instruction and I'm now told that the dosage was wrong. Please, don't bring your pets here.
Red Rocks has been very good to my kitties, they are or used to be a lower-cost clinic and a not always easy to get in touch by phone, but once you do and are seen the care is great. All the vets we have seen are very caring! Thanks. (2025 Edit: they used to work with people facing financial challenges, but as of recently we were advised that they were bought by some company and its more of a corporate vibe when it comes to their fees) This is probly why our vet we used to love stopped working there.
Red Rocks was very friendly, caring for my pet while she was in need for medical attention. I will return if my pets needs to be seen.
Excellent care for my pet and kindness to me.
