Everything people wrote about Eric and his salon is absolutely true. This was my first visit, and the name Jovial Studio couldn’t be more fitting. The ambiance is incredibly warm and welcoming (Eric’s dog is the sweetest and the massage chair!) and Eric himself is not only highly skilled but cuts hair with the precision of a surgeon. He saved my hair from a bad haircut, so grateful that I found him. I have Asian hair and need an Asian hair stylist, new to the area so I failed the first time because that place was not really good, but finally found him and the second attempt was a success! Highly recommend this studio!

Jovial Studio is hands down the best hair studio I’ve been to nationwide! Eric is incredibly patient and brings a unique combination of aesthetic vision and creativity to every session. I’ve tried many studios in major cities like DC and LA, but Eric’s work stands out above them all. Plus, he has the cutest dog in the studio, which adds to the peaceful and relaxing vibe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for exceptional service and a top-notch experience!

forcing 15% tip and raising the price from $59 to $75 without notice, while hitting my nose with the comb several times during haircut almost to a level it feels intentional to check if I had a plastic surgery. this should not be done. also, cut way too much with thinning shears even though my hair is curly, so now my hair is frizzy and a mess. men's haircut
