Publishes sensationalized stories even when they are non factual just to get views and subscribers. When met with facts and corrections the paper nor its editor are willing to look at the facts and retract their fear mongering articles based on non facts. They recently said Kratom was illegal in TN in an article which is FALSE. When confronted they have chose not to update their story with the correct information because it does not fit the papers business agenda. RecommendedI enjoy reading DJ but have a delivery problem. North Road Ecru carrier does not put papers in plastic when raining. Today great example, soaking wet. I do have journal box. Neighbors saying same.
RecommendedI have subscribed to DJ for over a year and so far have enjoyed getting it every morning. Thank you faithful delivery person. I especially enjoy the police reports. Some are very humorous.

Worst news publication I’ve ever seen.
the cost of a subscription in no way matches the quality of content that you recieve. some days you may get 7 pages of news total (sports included), all the rest is advertisements. couple that with late/nonexistant delivery with horrible customer service when you call to report it. not worth the cost (over $125/yr)!
