Dr. Joung Lee performed by brain surgery on Nov. 12, 1999, over 25 years ago at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. I had a large meningioma on my brain stem involving seven of the 12 cranial nerves. It also had enveloped the optic nerve of my right eye. The surgery was extremely delicate and precise, as any misstep could have caused blindness, paralysis, and even death on the operating table.
