This restaurant specializes in French and Korean fusion cuisine. One can watch the chefs at work in the kitchen from their seats on the counter. The menu is divided into special sparked, tossed, pickled, crisped and simmered categories. The chef and owners Rachel Yang and Seif Chirchi give us a delightful sensory experience in a friendly and casual setting. People from the Wallingford neighborhood frequent this friendly and classy joint. Joule is one fine dining experience not to be missed.

The rice cakes were awesome, as was the Octopus, and the kalbi burger, the beef tartar and the rib eye steak. We loved all the deserts created by Renee Bolstad!
Great food. Lovely staff, wait time for food was a bit too long, however, it gave us plenty if time to visit with each other. Definitely will return.
The spicy rice cakes are epic. The bavette will not be shared in the future. Excellent food, Excellent service. Well done.
Always a treat to go to Joule! We brunched for the first time yesterday, and loved the green shaksuka egg dish with scallion pancakes and the egg & porchetta sandwich, they were both phenomenal. The buffet was also really unexpected small bites/ starters that really showcased the chef's creativity.
