Better customer service depending on your race they seemed more willing to accommodate. We were told early check in would be allowed as long as we called in advance. We were told we couldn't after arrival despite our reservations. Alarms malfunction so no peace in the lobby or rooms while we wait for 5 hours while our room is being clean. Worse 1st experience and DC and I will NEVER book here again.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! In the prime of the city! The hotel itself is aged and needs some upgrades, but it’s quiet, safe, limited garage parking, and the price is phenomenal! They are actual furnished apartments. Our one bedroom, with pullout sofa, could have slept 6 people...easily!

Un depto. totalmente equipado. Living, comedor, buena habitación, buen baño. Muy bien ubicado, a unas 8 cuadras del monumento a Lincoln y del National Mall. Staff super agradable y atento. 100% recomendable.
Joud residence is very cozy, and right in the middle of the all the action with a 20 min walk to the white house.. the staff are very friendly and they make you feel welcome. I highly recommend it..
These pictures are staged. This place has very dim lighting, the carpets are soiled, the walls need to be painted. The exterior of the building is contemporary looking, but the inside decor is old dingy furniture. It is very outdated, and bears no representation of Georgetown at all. I was going to stay there, and I was given conflicting information. I did not want to stay because of this along with the fact that the building was dirty.
