I highly recommend Dr. Josiah Duke for a hip replacement. He's patient, answers all questions, explains the procedure and didn't rush through the appointment. I plan to have my other hip replaced.
Dr. Duke was recommended to me by a great friend when my son was having some knee issues. I found Dr. Duke to be a complete pro. He was a great listener, asked pertinent questions and gave a thorough examination. Left the appointment feeling confident of his evaluation. Couldn’t be more pleased.
Dr Duke did a right hip replacement using the anterior approach almost a year ago to date. I am very pleased with him, did a wonderful job!! I am now having issues with my left hip and have already scheduled the appointment to see him again. I trust his work and highly recommend him to anyone.
Horrible experience. He didn't even take my dads bandage off to assess the injury properly during the 2nd visit. He talked about dislocated foot & broken leg during the 2nd appt after saying it was a twisted fracture in the fibula and his foot would need pins to be pulled back together. Didn't even bring up the pins at the 2nd visit. The bandage from the first visit became unraveled within 24 hrs. Duke didn't let us know anything that would be done during surgery.
Dr. Duke is very condescending and rude. He does not have an ounce of compassion. He deserves zero stars, I only gave one because it was mandatory!! Don't waste your time or money with this evil man, I now go to Dr. Deanna Boyette and I'm getting the help I need, she is great.
I find Dr. Duke to be a very caring physician. He explains your problem and gives you options on your treatment. He is extremely easy to talk to.
