Dr. Zimmerman is knowledgeable, kind, empathetic and he LISTENS! He repaired my labrum back in 2011 and now I'm back for another shoulder issue. Eventually I will probably need a shoulder replacement due to osteoarthritis, but Dr. Z did not push for it at this time. He gave me a cortisone shot hoping that it would give me some relief for the near future. If it does not, he advised that I come back to discuss my options. A lot of surgeons would follow the money, but NOT Dr. Z. With him, patients come first! :)

The waiting room is neat and clean. The Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, professional and understanding. Not a long wait time to see Dr. Zimmerman. Dr. Zimmerman listened to how my fall happened, what hurts, how long it hurt and then examined me thoroughly. He had X-Rays taken, reviewed my X-Rays, explained my X-Rays to me then explained my options and my next follow up appointment. Dr Zimmerman is a great doctor. The office staff at the front desk are another story, not friendly, sometimes rude. No hello or good morning, or how are you when you sign in. Also while in the waiting room, the staff talk gossip about internal issues and talk about the patients. It's not very professional behavior. Also the glass windows should be closed so everyone in the waiting area can't hear the phone call discussions when other patients call.

Dr. Zimmerman is a positively SUPERB Dr. and a FANTASTIC LISTENER! He took ample time to review my medical history, the history of my current pain and proceeded with care and expeditious diagnostics. He's compassionate, thorough and a PHENOMENAL SURGEON! His staff are unparalleled as well. I had an extremely positive experience with literally everyone I interacted with from his office. I had started back to the gym 6-weeks earlier (thanks to the improving COVID protocols) and felt that I needed treatment for the osteoarthritis in my left shoulder, almost one-year to the date after my initial treatment. I started to feel relief by the following day!
I liked that Dr. Zimmerman gave me options and didn’t jump to aggressive treatment. Very straightforward, which I totally appreciate.
