Dr. Wewel gets an A+++++++++++++!!!!!!! He was very patient as we asked questions, he showed and explained my images and developed a treatment plan that we all agreed upon:) He was not in a rush and took as much time as we needed to understand my symptoms.
Dr. Wewel is very caring and attentive addressing all concerns with patience. Considering any kind of spine surgery is a scary thing but initial discussions have been positive and hopeful.
My journey began in Macon Georgia. I had an appointment with Dr Brooks in Macon, Georgia. To make a long story short I ended up at Piedmont, Atlanta. I was in bad shape. Dr Wewell operated on me on October 9, 2025. I am in rehab now and healing well. I had never met Dr Wewell. Nurse Morgan, Dr Brooks assistant at Ortho Georgia arranged for me to be transported by ambulance to Piedmont Atlanta.
