Dr. Shapiro is a nice guy, but is not as thorough as he should be. I had a knee revision, and it actually made the knee worse because it's neuropathy. Be more thorough before any surgery!
It was a long road, but I do not regret having both knees replaced. Dr. Shapiro was honest throughout the process, which I appreciate with a medical professional. There was pain with each surgery, but when your in pain 24/7 before surgery, the pain during recovery was worth it. Dr. Shapiro and his staff have always been very professional, sympathetic, and supportive.
