Dr Hornstein Explains everything thoroughly. A very caring doctor and I highly recommend him. Great bedside manner.
Dr. Hornstein preformed surgery on my right rotator cuff which was severely torn. He explained the extent of my injury and the amount of time it would take to heal. He and his staff were always professional and addressed any concern or issuse I had during the 10 months I was under his care. I am very pleased with my overall experience with Dr. Horstein and his staff and would highly recommend him to anyone who had or has the same type of injury as I did.
DOC WAS UPFRONT ON RECOVERY TIME, HE LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS. HE DID A GREAT JOB, IM AHEAD OF SCHEDULE AND IMPROVING EVERY DAY.
I highly recommend Dr. Hornstein. Last year I was in so much pain from a torn rotator cuff I could not even ride my bike around the block. I am now 5 months post surgery and rode over 20 miles last weekend! He also operated on my son. He tore the labrum in both of his shoulders on two separate occasions. He is now back to snowboarding/skateboarding and the sports he loves.
While in the care of Dr. Joshua Hornstein I was completely satisfied with his care level. He completely explained my medical condition and went fully over all the treatment options available for my ailment. He has a great bedside manner as well and explains things on a patient level. There are times where you may have to wait for him in the waiting room, but in my opinion he's a doctor worth waiting for! I would highly recommend Dr. Hornstein to anyone I know.
Dr. Hornstein understood my issues right away; he suggested treatment that would not require major surgery. Had same day surgery and came home with everything I would need to recover. Followup was excellent! 5 months later and I am feeling back to normal (almost). Very straight forward and explains everything.
Great doctor, who has a great bed side manner and remembers details like no one else I know. He remembered exactly what I was in for 3 years ago when I went back this time.
I started with a pain in my shoulder from lifting weights, then it spiraled into an more serious injury as I ignored the pain and continued to lift and rock climb. Next thing I knew, I couldn't use my arm and was referred to Dr. Hornstein to evaluate my shoulder for surgery. I was afraid I had created a situation that would require a LONG recovery. But Dr. Hornstein explained everything in detail and eased my mind greatly. Now, I'm 8 months out and back to lifting and climbing thanks to him!
