Very helpful and professional!
Excellent care. Very straight forward. Pushes you very hard after surgery, but only for the benefit of the patient. Insistent that everything be done to his requirements. Those requirements are necessary for best outcomes. Expects compliance from staff and patients. Not sweet, but I respect his drive for excellence. Thanked him for pushing me hard.
Dr. Katz treated my husband in April 2016 for what was thought to be a simple ruptured appendix at Methodist Germantown ED. We were terrified as my husband is never sick & our little boy was just delivered 12 hours prior. Dr. Katz has a WONDERFUL bedside manner. He prayed with us & reassured us. My husbands condition became serious -Peritonitis & because of the level of infection had to remain separated from us for several days. Today we are all happy & healthy. I would gladly recommend Dr. Katz
Dr. Katz performed 2 separate procedures, rectal/colon at St. Francis hospital on me 11/17/17. I waited for over 3 mos. for this MD who was “supposed” to be excellent. Everything that could go wrong, DID, both in the hospital and esp. at home during the recovery period. I’m 68 yrs. old and was given very, very little pain control after surgery which inc. removing over 13 in. of my colon. The last pain med received from Dr. Katz was one Lortab q 6 hrs.,given 10 days after very major surgery.

Dr. Katz was one of the most caring doctors I had to deal with in my diagnosis of a colorectal mass. He tells you like it is, but you can definitely tell that he does care about his patients' well being. I put my life in his hands and trusted him and would do the same with any member of my family.
This was my first visit to Dr. Katz. I found his office and his staff to be both personable and efficient. My concern was a cyst I had and as I was going on a cruise, I wanted to get the issue resolved. Dr. Katz examined me, put my mind at ease, talked with me, and assured me I could go on with my plans. I followed his instructions, and went on my cruise without any difficulty. I would definitely recommend Dr. Katz to anyone.
Josh is the man! He cut out my cancer, explained everything and was accurate about recovery time. He's a lifesaver and a gifted cutter. I'm so lucky to have him in my area.
Dr. Katz is extremely skilled in gastro related surgery. He performs numerous surgeries on daily basis. He is God sent. He saved my life. Highly recommend.
