I am so glad my Dr sent me to Dr. Katz. He is excellent in everyway. He takes time to explain every detail and makes sure you understand and to answer your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Katz and his staff.
The paperwork was longer than the wait! I suggest you do it online before arriving. Dr. Katz was very tall & smart! He described in detail my issue! And knew my history! Showed me on diagram & let the reality of this sit! Ok got it! Wasn’t ready for butt thing a mah jig, like pelvic exam equipment but didn’t even know he had used it! Was gentle and very informative! Everybody in the office is very helpful and friendly. Dr. Katz is an Excellent, Caring, Professional Surgeon. Highly recommended.
Dr. Katz is the kindest and smartest dr out there! He listens to all my concerns and takes a very pragmatic approach to all my health issues. He really cares about your health and prefers not to see you - but only bc he wants you living a healthy life without his need. I never post, but Dr Katz is worth it.

Very thorough and answers questions patiently.
Basically called me a liar when I gave him my bowel record. I had been unable to clean out prior to a procedure although I had taken multiple laxatives. Referred me to another dr because he wouldn’t address the basic problem.
Dr. Katz was the very BEST Doctor/Surgeon in Maryland, I miss him so very much, but if I ever have to have surgery again, I WILL go to Tennessee. He is the Best!!
