Dr. Karlin is very personable, kind, compassionate, funny, and knowledgeable! We loved him! He answered all of our questions and took his time with us. He listened intently and didn’t brush us off and was very compassionate and understanding. I appreciated everything about the visit from the check in, to the kind x-ray and nursing staff, to his expertise. I could not have higher praise for the experience. I came home and immediately called my PCP to have them add him to their referral list!
I went in for a Spine problem got scheduled right away, for 11-21-24. Then a rollover wreck on 11-20-24, stopped that. Dr. Karlin then became my Broken Neck, C4, C5, C6, & C7. The original X-rays and MRI's showed only C6 was broken. When Dr. Karlin got in he found the other 3 vertabrae needed help also. MRI's did not show but C6 as damaged in the wreck. 2 cages and 2 titanium disks later, I have my normal neck back. Now I am going back in for my back, L5-S1. Update:Seeing Dr Karlin was the best decision! After years of suffering and being told there was nothing wrong with me, Dr Karlin replaced two discs in my neck and the horrific pain was finally gone. He is the only Dr I will see when it comes to my spine. After seeing three of the "best" surgeons in KC, that all said there was nothing they could do to help me, I was almost hopeless.
