He took time to explain everything about my condition and possible treatments without biasing me toward any particular one.
I told Dr. Cary’s nurse when I left yesterday that it is awful to have cancer, but the bright side is that I have such amazing care providers. Dr. Cary is my surgeon, and has operated on my son. He removed my son’s spleen when he had ITP and a frightening platelet level, during an earthquake. He was kind and caring and understanding of my fears. He has done several of my cancer surgeries. I hope I never have to have a different surgeon! By the way, his staff is just as caring and professional as he is.

Dr. Carey has done surgery on my husband and me. We both like him and feel he is a good surgeon and has excellent "bedside manner." I highly recommend him to you!
I am very happy with the care that Dr. Carey gave me. I had a tumor that was removed by my general practitioner but still needed surgery for clean margins and removal of lymph nodes. He clearly explained the procedure and what to expect for recovery. His nurse is also very knowledgeable and compassionate. I just had the stitches removed yesterday and the incision healed really well. Praise God, the lymph nodes and margins were clear! I would absolutely recommend Dr. Carey for any surgery necessary.

I recently underwent a lumpectomy as an out-patient and Dr. Carey performed the procedure at Edmond Integris. From my initial visit in his office I found Dr. Carey showed a genuine concern for me as a patient and the numerous questions I had - at no time did I feel like I was having to be rushed through an office visit or even to make a decision as to what was the best course of action.
