The food here is terrible. Nothing is fresh. We spit out the flan because I think it was spoiled. The texture was really weird. They probably made it two months ago.
A night out with friends. I wish we had similar service levels in Australia - Cole was friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. Starters were guacamole and salsa with corn chips. Low level heat in the salsa and an obviously in house made guacamole. We aren't Mexican savvy so we decided to order the Mahi Mahi de la Paz and the Chili Rojo Burrito and swap halfway through. The serves were generous but because of the great food and flavours we managed. Great value compared with options in Waikiki. Well patronised but i can see why.
My local friend and I grabbed takeout (enchiladas and original fajitas). I really don’t understand the hate this place gets. If you get nachos for takeout, they’ll be soggy even if Gordon Ramsay cooked them and you eat them later. Come try this local spot and you won’t be disappointed. Mahalo! 🤙
Jose's never fails to satisfy. It is my favorite place for beer and nachos. Friendly service, ample parking, good food. Just remember that you have to ask for jalapenos!
Food was good. Rice was a bit mushy. Margarita was good but served in a normal fountain drink cup. Coin parking was all we could find. It just wasn't nearly worth the price. At 25$ average base price for entrees I want a waterfront sunset or something. If it was 5$ less per person the experience would have been more enjoyable.
