My husband took me there last night. We are from WDM and he looked for romantic restaurant in Iowa City. Jackpot!!! This was beyond my expectations. A little pricey, but everyone once in awhile, one needs to live a little bit more. I had the sea bass and he had the swordfish blackened. One of the staff helped us pick out a new Malbec and it was wonderful. Go again in a second!!!

This is a Ruth Chris Steak House using a different name. The food was fantastic, service was impeccable and the atmosphere was wonderful. Great experience all around.
My wife and I tried Joseph's because it was rated #1 on LocalsLoveUs. We were NOT let down! For starters, the wine list is great. The salad had some of the best dressing either of us had ever had and the steak was...unforgettable. Also, the ambiance and lighting are very cool yet super comfortable and the service was awesome. We look forward to coming back.
