Yesterday we drove from marshall to get our monthly BBQ. Ordered 1 1/2 lbs sliced beef & 1qt potato salad. We were SO disappointed with the beef. It was swimming in 1/2" of grease. We have never had that happen before. Had to throw it away. What Happened?
Best cheese fries in East Texas, but don't call 'em that - order Swamp Fries.

An iconic place in Jefferson. Great food , great staff . I've never been in and not seen the owners working. That says a lot about the pride that is put in to making this a "must go" place in this great little town.

Honestly the most comforting BBQ I have ever eaten. The experience of working there was something I was so proud of. The core staff and family who owns and operates this place are 1 in a million. Do you want great bar-b-que and a place to call "home"?, then this is your spot. Become a regular. Get to know your favorite items from the concrete menu and enjoy! (If you know what's best for you, order a rack of ribs to go). 5 stars, hands down
Their swamp fries are delicious,I can't get enough,but their other entrees are delicious as well,highly recommend this place.
