I was so in need of a chopped beef from Joseph's Riverport B B Q, I was enroute home from Marshall so I stopped and got a chopped beef sandwich from Joseph. When I got home I sat on my deck to enjoy my special lunch and the birds. Tom, my cat smelled my chopped beef and insisted on having some. He is very picky about his eating, so I only put a small amount on deck, which he ate and wanted more amounting to four different times before he stopped insisting. The price was astonishing for the amazing value of the food! I had the sliced brisket sandwich. It was so delicious just by itself I actually felt wrong adding the homemade BBQ sauce at every table! But I did add it to a few bites of the sandwich and it took my taste buds to another world!
Our first visit -- I had pork and brisket., and I can't say I've ever had better. I can say I have never been more entertained. We sat with the Mayor of the nearby community of Lodi, and were treated to nonstop entertainment provided by Lee aka The Great 1. We will be back.
Wow!! We would vote this best BBQ joint in Texas! Swamp fries are delicious & your turkey was the best I've ever had!! Prices are great, too! ��
The food was delicious and the people that worked there were great!
Babyback ribs are to die for, love the brisket and turkey as well mmmmm
