Always have a 5 star treatment!!! Joseph, Mary and my favorite hair stylist Danielle have always gone out of their way to accommodate me with my crazy traveling schedule. i am very mad athe experiance here – I would not even rate this place. It deserves a negative rating. I had my nails done by a girl named lydia. She was pleasant at first but when we started to talk she asked me if i wanted some of there special services. i thought i was going to get a deal on a pedi. well after asking her what she had to offer what prceeded to tell me she offers the other kind of serices. Eyebrow Threading – Everyone was really friendly and helpful! I was given a compliment on my eyebrows and they did a great job! Definitely going back!
BEYOND HORRIBLE & UNPROFESSIONAL!! – Overpriced and rude. I ordered hair product from this salon and then a few weeks later ordered the same product. When I went to pick up the second time, I was not only charged 35% more than the first time, but the bottles were half the size of the original order!! I was given no explanation. Love this place! – Patricia, Pat, Ted, Shannon are awesome stylists and colorists. Professional and talented, with a dedicated following of clients. Patricia did my updo for my prom and made me look like I could attend the Oscar awards or walk a red carpet. I go there regularly for my waxing. The waxing gal is quiet and reserved, but I prefer that to someone chewing my ears off with chatter, because I want to relax when I'm there. terrible brow threading – not only was the threading lady rude, she butchered my poor brows! i told her i like them on the thicker side. she barely spoke to me, ripped through them painfully, and took way too much off. the shape is bad and uneven. but there are spots where its not even clean w/scragly hairs here and there! i have had my brows threaded for years where i used to live. so far josephs is the only place ive found in the area who does threading but its NOT worth it! just lettin them sllooowly grow back in.
Pricey, slow, poor attitude – Tried the place a few years back and left because of the unfriednly attitude, including criticism of the last customer while cutting my hair. Decided to give it another try recently. After several visits, I'm making a change. Service is slow (you're kept waiting and it takes a long time to get a hair cut), prices are high and escalate without warning (20% more the last visit, without a word said until you go to pay). Attitude is judgemental and unfriendly.
Great eyebrows, but not a spa atmosphere – I decided to give Joseph's a try after I read an article in the Post Standard that said the salon uses a hair-removal technique known as threading. A friend of mine in college used to get this process done on her eyebrows and they were always beautiful. I was completely disappointed when I first walked into the "spa".
