A favorite restaurant in trendy 12 South! I discovered I love beef tongue. What? First time was dynamite, sliced thin with a light sauce. It was as good as any filet. 2nd try it was different, shredded in a too salty heavy gravy. Couldn’t really tell what I was eating except SALT! Please go back to the tender, tasty fresh slices! Other dishes are just so well done. Josephine’s is a surprising hidden gem. You can always get in too!

Unfortunately this place is closing due to neighborhood development, but such a wonderful atmosphere and amazing fare! This is a jewel that it's a shame to lose!
This was my first time at Josephine’s and I’m glad I made it before they closed their doors! The service was impeccable, the food was superb, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the restaurant itself was quite spacious. I was so sad to learn that Josephine was closing their doors this month after a decade in business, so I’m glad I made it in for the first time!
