I had severe injuries on both feet after five boxes of flooring tiles fell on them. Dr. Kou performed surgery on both feet and my foot health is as good as new. He is caring. thoughtful, personable and a fantastic surgeon!
I had overall great working experience with Dr. Kou. This was my first surgery experience and I’m typically not good in handling such matters, especially with blood and pain. But throughout the whole process, he was very professional, friendly and was willing to answer any questions, emitting confidence in the expected procedure and calming my nerves. I am so happy with the process and end result of the placement of an “Infinity Prophecy “ ankle replacement. Dr. Kou is the best, he is professional, and personal which invites total confidence . I wouldn’t have any other surgeon . I am a nurse and have had experience with several joint replacements. I also want to compliment the John Muir Hospital, excellent staff, organized and very caring. Dr. Joseph Kou performed two foot surgeries on me. He is the most wonderful surgeon! He gave me a complete picture of what to expect and did a great job. He is personable, kind and altogether brilliant. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him. I am just sorry that I did not get around to writing this review sooner.
