Dr V replaced my left hip back in the fall of 2019. At the time, he was still with Straub. He was fantastic! Not only is he a talented surgeon but he has a lovely, empathetic bedside manner. His staff at the time was top notch. My only disappointment was that Covid appeared on the scene and because of it, I did not get to see him in person for my last post-op visit. Had bilateral hip replacements done 3 months ago by Dr. Varcadipane, feeling AWESOME!!!, the only thing I regret is that I didn't get it done sooner!!!
Excellent outcome for double hip replacement - solid plan for advance physical therapy to get ready for surgery to ensure best outcome, great advance session to understand and prepare for the surgery, glad I spent one night in the hospital to better understand mobility and manage movement. No major pain issues requiring anything more than Tylenol - was walking with walker immediately, able to get up, go to restroom and shower. This old lady had hip replacement in June 2022. Dr. V and staff excellent. Pre surgery, during surgery and post surgery, excellent! Was up and about sooner than expected. Mahalo Dr. V and staff!
I had the privilege of Dr. V reconstructing my leg. He did an excellent job despite the 5 breaks in both bones of my right leg. I can’t thank you enough for your work and all the empathy you showed by visiting me each day during my recovery. Excellent Surgeon deserving of 10 STARS!
