Dr Shung was my dads surgeon when he got his carpel tunnel fixed. He knew his stuff. Took to the time to make my dad (who is 80 and doesn't trust anyone) feel comfortable and relaxed with the procedure. We were in and out same day and today (a few days later) my dad just got cleared to use his hand, it is damn near 100%! HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shung. Best in the biz.
I had an exceptional experience having Cubital Tunnel surgery with Dr Shung and PA Racette and MA Kevin. They are compationate and patient-centered. I can't recommend them enough. I never felt rushed and certainly felt that all my questions and concerns were met or exceeded.
I am really disappointed, Doctor Shung may be one of the most rudest doctors I have ever encountered. I have been dealing with a wrist injury for over half a year and bouncing back and forth between doctors trying to figure out what the next steps are. Dr. Shung is OUTSTANDING. I had CMC joint repair and other work done by him. He takes time and listens to his patients. He is great at his craft. I highly recommend him.
It has been one month since the mini carpal tunnel release that Dr. Shung performed. My severe numbness and burning that I had for almost one year caused much sleep deprivation. Dr. Shung took the time to call me at home since I live two hours away to explain the procedure and to reassure me that my recovery would be quick. My recovery was very quick.
