I’ve been seeing Dr. Spiegel for a little under a year now, and this man has cured me!! I went to so many otolaryngologists who misdiagnosed me with laryngospasm and otolaryngologists who were scared to do an intratracheal Botox or nerve block injection, but not Dr. Spiegel!! I think we figured out what my issue is in my cricopharyngeus muscle (throat tightness and globus) and the vagus nerve! Was transferred to him after 20yrs with Dr Boone who.leftbJefferson Hoping he can figure out my problem as the last 5 years have been hellp. I know he is a Great Dr since I worked for 49 years at Jefferson and heard his name mentioned many times
Seems like a nice doctor, and from what I read a good surgeon. However, my appointment felt very rushed after waiting an hour to see him, which was disappointing. I left not feeling all my questions were answered. If you are looking for someone to do a quick review, then he is good option. But, if you want someone to carefully explain and answer your concerns, especially if you are paying out of pocket $$$, I would look for another doc. Just my thoughts.
