I was very much talked down to. Told me that I was making up my issues. He explained why he was such an asset to Baptist and that is why they couldn't get rid of him and his team. That was my second appointment, I should have trusted my gut.
Please choose another doctor do not go to him. He was very rude and unprofessional. The first visit without any test gave me seizure medication of the highest dosage. Test results came back fine but still insists he is right and it doesn’t matter what the test results say. Made me feel uncomfortable and felt he had no compassion. He talked over me and was raising his voice when I asked questions. I believe he should not be allowed to treat patients with this type of behavior. Didn’t ask about my health problems and didn’t se... read more
Very rude , unprofessional. First visit told me he did not know why they send Cancer patients to him , then told me my Drs was not baptists health drs that’s what was wrong . 2 nd visit did not go over any test he had ran , very rude He insisted after minutes in the room with me I was fixated on my disc . Nothing wrong with me . When clearly my MRI says different and the pain I am in has stolen my life . He had no concerns for my health at all , and again told me a may have cancer and my bones are what is wrong with me , his... read more
We recently moved from another state. I was diagnosed a few years ago in my home state, both with a neurologist in my town, and with a specialist at a neurological institute. Over the course of getting diagnosed, I participated in several EMGs/NCSs, MRIs, and ultimately, a genetic blood test that revealed I have HNPP. One of my children was diagnosed with the same a year later. I have been on a few medications since then, and I have not worsened, thank goodness. I have numbness and pain, but I only wear over the counter brac... read more
Dr. Oropilla has an Amazing bedside manner, was genuinely concerned about my neurologist issues and finding out the root cause so he could offer a proper treatment plan. He spent as much time with me as was needed, to make me feel comfortable that every concern was addressed. You will be very fortunate to be in his care.
Was yelled at tell him what my issue is. Said that he only treats x,y, and z. That my issues were nothing. I couldn’t remember because he had me so upset. Then when i remember he told me it wasn’t important because i would quit doing the movement that caused the issues. Obviously i quit because it hurt. It prevents me from doing certain things. Said that he didn't know why i was there. Was upset that i was seen somewhere else for a nerve conduction study even though i didn't choose who i saw. When he wrote the notes in my fi... read more
I am a primary care provider for a early on set dementia patient of Dr. Oropilla. I olways accompany my patient during all of his office visits and have, without fail, found Dr. Oropilla to be a most professional, compassionate, respectfull and knowledgeable doctor. He always speaks directly to the patient while maintaining eye contact and a pleasant demeanor. I am impressed with the amount of time he spends with his patients as he appears to never be in a rush. His diagnosis and treatment plan to date have proven beneficial... read more
He was friendly, gentle and thorough. A very nice experience!
Terrible doctor and person: yelled so loud spit was coming out of his mouth. Should have called police on him. He had a temper. Yelled so loud people could hear in waiting room. Very disrespectful. Needs a zero. Beware
