ABSOLUTELY ABANDONED DURING PANDEMIC My experience with Dr. Serletti needs to be documented. I was left in a position where I had to remove two surgical drains myself, each over a foot long, which was physically and emotionally distressing and something no patient should have to do without medical supervision. I met with Dr. Serletti multiple times to ask questions before my TRAM flap reconstructive surgery in 2011. He said very little during these appointments. I asked if I would need someone to care for me after the procedure, and he said I would be making myself a sandwich a few days after returning home. I asked his nurse the same question and she told me that would be impossible and that I would need someone to help me as I would not be able to care for myself.
