Dr. Joseph McGraw is a phenomenal surgeon. I've had 5 major surgeries in my lifetime and my total hip replacement by Dr. McGraw left me with virtually no pain. I was walking to the bathroom unattended right after coming out of recovery. Dr. McGraw has great confidence and is informative and concise when explaining your procedure: I love confidence in a surgeon! Dr. McGraw is the best!
I spent 2 1/2 years in pain after TKR from Dr McGraw. He never listened to my complaints and at my 1 year visit he said that’s the best it’s going to be. I went to another doctor (Dr Lerche) and he immediately diagnosed the problem as a too small plastic cartilage that Dr McGraw put in. I then underwent reconstructive surgery (Dr Lerche; June, 2023) to replace the plastic cartilage with a larger version that fixed the problem.
