Dr Kou took the time to show me the exact location of my injury and how he was going to repair it through surgery. He also explained how the healing process was going to be and what to expect. I am confident in his abilities and I look forward to being able to walk again without pain
This doctor does not care about your needs. I had a major life changing surgery and got zero guidance after surgery about how to start walking again and everything I was still in pain after over a year. Went back to see what the problem was got a ct and he walked in the room and laughed told me nothings wrong when clearly I’m telling him I’m in pain. Seamless from start to finish. Would have preferred my pre-op a week prior to surgery, rather than two days in order to purchase DME. Thank you Dr Kou! You make having surgery almost fun!
I was referred to Dr. Kou after I'd received a diagnosis of Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction from a podiatrist. I wanted to see if there were any options to me for pain relief and helping me to live am active life again. Dr. Kou's bedside manner is caring and compassionate. He asked me questions about my symptoms, history, etc. then looked at the X-rays and feet. He diagnosed tendinitis and asked me I still had plenty of arch left.
