I have seen Dr. Ho for sciatica and degenerative disk disease to help me with pain management. He is a caring, knowledgeable doctor who will be honest regarding his recommendations including any risks of procedures. I received an epidural injection for my back pain and his professionalism and staff are top notch. I highly recommend him as a very experienced and compassionate doctor who also follows up with patients regularly to monitor their progress.
I just saw Dr. Ho today and I would like to say that he's a great doctor that he took more than enough time to examine me, ask many questions, answer all my questions, went back and forth to check the medical records I have from my previous provider and he even joked with us and of course I recommend him to anyone who looks for a knowledgeable and caring doctor
Dr Ho is by far the most caring pain specialist I have had the pleasure of knowing. He includes me in decision making and explains procedures thoroughly. Dr Ho listens. He is kind. He actually makes eye contact when either one of us are speaking. I have never left his office in tears out of frustration and if you are a chronic pain patient you understand that statement completely! His office staff at his Irvine office are as lovely as he is. My experience with Dr. Ho has been great. He is a very caring and kind person and has helped me a great deal. I have never felt rushed during my appointments and Dr. Ho has always taken time to explain things to me. He has taken all the time necessary to explain my condition, provide treatment options, and discuss any questions or concerns I might have. I feel that he is very knowledgeable and up to date in regards to his specialty. I would certainly recommend him to others.
I’ve had a nerve block and epidural over the past few months and both have been an easy experience. I was nervous, but Dr Ho is very pleasant, professional, and caring that I was willing to trust him. I would not hesitate going back to him for another procedure, should I need one. His office staff seems to be very efficient, friendly, and wait time has been minimal.
I've struggled with low back pain since I was a teenager. As I aged, it became worse and I ended up needing surgery. Though helpful, I developed more problems and my doctor suggested I see a Pain specialist.. I began seeing Dr. Ho around 2005. He impressed me with his kindness and overall concern which went beyond just my physical pain. He's professional and knowledgeable. His philosophy is to treat the person in pain, not just the pain. I am now able to live more comfortably with chronic pain.
I've seen Dr. Ho for pain management to deal with failed spinal surgery syndrome. Pain radiated from low back into my feet. Dr. Ho is an excellent diagnostician and over time restored a huge amount of my functionality. Empathetic and skilled. I have sent friends and family to him confidently.
Treated me for over 5 years before he moved to California. He has been one of the reasons I have gotten through some really bad times. One of the best and most compassionate doctors I’ve ever met. All his guidance was right on the mark and he knows how to look forward and anticipate things that are often overlooked by other doctors. I really miss him on the east coast.
