It’s been a year since Jan completely ruined my hair, and I’m still dealing with the damage. I came in for a cut and color, showed multiple reference photos of a light brown/caramel shade, and left with hair that was nearly black. When I expressed concern, she repeatedly told me it only looked darker because we were indoors and insisted it matched my request. $3 charge for using a bank card on a $100 haircut. Using Venmo for a tip rather than adding it on to my salon charge is okay, but expecting me to bring cash for a haircut, I’ll live without.
