I was in the middle of preparing for surgery with another doctor when I got a notice that they were retiring and I'd need a new doctor. After talking with staff and reading reviews, I chose Dr. Illario. How lucky was I??? He's an amazing surgeon! I was so surprised not to need pain relief post surgery! Dr. Kim was very responsive in addressing the issue I was having and was knowledgable.
In August 2020 I had trouble breathing, weakness, fever, cough and had significant co-morbidities. I called Kaiser and spoke to this doctor. Remember, at this time there was no treatment, no vaccine, nothing. She confirmed I probably had Covid and to quarantine myself. She sounded very light-hearted, almost laughing, like it was no big deal. She told me to take a pain killer and call 911 if I got worse. Dr. Abbott has been my physician for several years, and I couldn’t ask for better care. She takes the time to listen, communicates clearly, and explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. Her warm and compassionate demeanor makes every visit comfortable, and I’m always impressed that she remembers our last conversation—even when a full year has passed. She is also very responsive via messaging through the patient portal.
Dr Sofroni is an invaluable asset to the in-patient neurology department and the Simi Valley community as a whole. She give's her patient's the time they deserve, even if it means staying late every single night.
This doctor is checked out and just mailing it in at this point for a paycheck. Rude, condescending and I did not feel any of my concerns were being addressed. He was more than happy to punt me to someone else with a referral.
The biopsy was performed in a competent and caring manner.
I wish I could give zero stars. I was diagnosed with a stomach bacteria and was feeling much better before starting the treatment. Dr. Datta prescribed three rounds of the strongest antibiotics, and since then my health has gone downhill — I can barely eat more than rice or a banana and can’t even function normally day to day.What’s even worse is the complete lack of care or follow-up.
