RecommendedMy husband and I are here for brunch just about every weekend - we love this spot! They have great food, kind and friendly service, and a beautiful patio (the front 1/2 is dog-friendly for our pup!). They have awesome meatless options. I always (literally every time) get the squash quesadillas.
We live in Georgia and were just passing thru Los Cruces and made short trip to Mesilla. We went to Josefina's Old Gate Cafe on Sunday morning for breakfast and a little shopping. Beautiful patio and great food. We were entertained by live relaxing music and wonderful food. If I lived in the area this would be my Sunday ritual.
Went there on Saturday (Nov 3) because the wait at Double Eagle for 7 people was 40 minutes. Well biggest mistake ever!!!! 1 waitress for the whole restaurant despite not many people being there not 1 time she came to check our table or refill our drinks, service was horrible. Food took so long everything was cold, the pozole was cold, refried and black beans dried, rice was so over cooked, my friend ordered nachos and the meat was so dried and cold melted cheese, my daughter ordered a turkey wrap and the cheese was freezer ... read more

Food is delicious & the atmosphere outside is so relaxing with the water fountain & inside is like being at a family's home. A favorite place of mine.

One of the best outdoor patios I have ever eaten at. Food was very tasty and the service was on point. This place will not disappoint. Prices are good.
