They generally only see people with acute injuries at the walk-in, and my neck had been hurting for 6 months. On the day I went the pain was so bad that I woke up at 3:30am with an unbearable headache and neck pain so bad that I almost threw up. I guess I looked so bad that the doctor was willing to see me even though my situation wasn’t acute.
