Nasty terrible staff have to beg for refills. Didn't know their menu! Two times ago food poisoning for me and my wife. Waisted our dinner only places left are taco bueno or Taco Bell. A little training with staff would help.
Love it. Don't understand why a standard recipe isn't used for the salsa. sometimes way hotter----???? This time (5-20) very hot.. Was told it is "mild". no adjustment, but more mild could have been - in my opinion.
Always a great place to eat. The are very accommodating with food changes and sensitivities. They get pretty crazy and sometimes their drinks are too strong but it's yummy!
Overall, we did not have a good experience. We did like the salsa and soft tacos. However, the majority of the food was not good. The queso dip had an odd flavor. The beef and chicken enchiladas also tasted strange. The Monterey Chicken dish had little flavor. The refried beans were disgusting. I know this is a very popular restaurant but we can't figure out why. Maybe we just didn't order the right dishes this time.
I had dinner last night with a friend. Worst service ever. We sat in the almost completely empty bar area and waited almost 15 minutes before our waiter even greeted us. As a bonus within an hour of leaving the restaurant I was violently ill from my dinner. The last few experiences at the restaurant have been just as bad. I won't be back..
I had never been there before and it was awesome! I got the Monterey Chicken Burrito. It was amazing. And they had great salsa and cheese dip.
