Dr Menendez is extremely arrogant. His approach to after surgery follow up and education lacks empathy or injury prevention. Informed me I could get get back to my active lifestyle despite xray results showing fusion was not supportive of any such activity ( physical therapist stated this wasn’t safe).The office staff seemed very overwhelmed and cancelled first post-op surgery follow up appointment a couple of times due to other surgeries. My neighbors son had surgery with Menendez and is in very bad shape and pain. He will probably never return your calls. However, that is why surgeons become surgeons, they want to deal with patients as little as possible. Can't blame them, most patients are a pain in the bottom.
I read the reviews. Dr Menendez officially was very clean. His staff kind and more then willing to answer ALL QUESTIONS. I spent 30-40 minutes with Dr Menendez and he was not rushing me. His credentials r impecable. Surgery is complete. His staff at the hospital Went out the wayto assure I was comfortable I would Recomend him to anyone.
Worst experience with him totally unsatisfied went from one problem to another now I'm worst then better
Total jerk....disgusting office had dirty used bandaid on the ground in exam room and then a bed bug ran over my arm....changed exam rooms only to have him never acknowledge the filth, and then refuse to discuss mri with me when he learned he was the one of several DR's I was meeting with for opinions- What a egotistical creeper ..run, run for your life!!
He always takestime with us and doesn’t seem rushed to move onto his next patient. Very thorough in his answers and patient with us. He was wonderful in surgery as well as after in the hospital and in his office. His staff is friendly and always willing to help. Josie & Clarissa are quick to answer or get back to us. I feel like I deal with the same people instead of multiple office workers. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
I can recommend Dr Menendez for any surgical procedure
