I was recently diagnosed with advanced cancer. Dr. Erbella removed a tumor and installed a port for the administration of infusions. My situation was urgent and he worked quickly with my oncologist to make the process quick, easy and with the least amount of anxiety to me. His staff in the office and OR were unfailingly kind and gentle. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Erbella is the best. He saved my life and continues to take great care of me. His assistant Jill is awesome too. Love them both. Great bed side manor and very nice and caring. They’ve done many surgeries on me. Highly recommended.

Dr Erbella has performed multiple surgeries on me in the last 10years. He is a consummate professional and he has the best bedside manner you will ever encounter in a physician. He will take as much time as needed to answer any questions you might have. And he goes above and beyond for his patients on a regular basis. He has a great office staff as well. They will do their best to get you in to see him as quickly as possible. I saw him on a Thursday and I had my surgery the following day.

Dr. Erbella, his PA, Jill and his entire staff are compassionate & professional. I recently fell and developed an abscess that needed surgery. Feeling vulnerable and in pain, Dr. Erbella made me feel at ease. Dr. Erbella is highly skilled and when you need the BEST you want him & his team!

This review is in 2 parts. Part 1. Dr. Erbella performed an emergency bowel resection in 2009. He was wonderful from the first moment I met him. Although the surgery was serious Dr. Erbella made me feel comfortable both in his ability and his attention to me as his patient. I was not just a number to the Dr. and his staff which leads me to part 2 of my review. Recently I requested proof of my procedure for a medical policy I was obtaining. Dr erbella put in an inguinal hernia mesh that I was then allergic to. It perforated my colon, I lost my gallbladder, I had an autoimmune response. It crushed my spermatochords, and stuck to a vein and artery that almost killed me. This disgusting man wouldn’t even admit that the mesh could be a problem. Never gave me a warning that the mesh gave a 33% incident rate of complications. I was only 25 at the time and there was zero reason to implant a mesh when a hernia recurrence is a 3-10% chance

While I liked Dr. Erbella, I felt his recommendation was too drastic/too invasive. I can't recommend this practice because of the high charge of over $600 to my insurance company for a consult. After many conversations with the office manager, I was told that's what they charge because usually patients only have to pay a small co-pay. Well, that's fine if you have that kind of insurance - I do not. I ended up paying $178 for a consult! I felt it was excessive for a consult.

My hemorrhoid surgery was like a dream if there is such a thing! Dr Erbella did my very first surgery. I gave birth to 3 children (over 30 years ago) and have had these hemorrhoids ever since. Jill held my hand the day of surgery while Dr Erbella talked to me. I forgot to ask questions the day of my office appointment so I called and talked to Kris. The girls in his office are top notch! i had to wait 30 minutes for my first appointment but he and his girls are Worth The Wait!
